With all the matte lip colors I’ve been wearing, my lips tend to stay very dry and flaky lately. So, when I opened up the package Yu-Be sent, I was super happy this lip balm was in it!
I try to avoid petroleum-based lip balms because they often do more harm than good. Yu-Be’s balm is glycerin-based, and contains Vitamin E and camphor to help soothe and heal dry, chapped lips. Despite the camphor, this has a much milder scent than Carmex and other medicated lip balms.
Since there is no petroleum, this was not at all greasy. It left my lips very soft and smooth without feeling heavy. I was even able to wear it under lipstick- and the lipstick didn’t smear like it does when worn over petroleum-based balms. The best part? This will set you back just five bucks- at that price, I may just stash one everywhere!
