Why, oh, why must winged eyeliner remain so popular? It’s a timeless, classic look that has seemingly always been a “thing.” The only problem is that it can be a bitch to get it right!
Luckily, there are some fantastic formulas out there that make the procedure of winging out your eyes much easier. I really like the felt tip liners, but they don’t last. Unfortunately, since they’re so much like a marker, they tend to dry out quickly. Then there are others that are “gloppy,” like, helloooohhhh Kat Von D Lightning Liner- great formula, but very messy applicator.
So, when I went into Sephora in Bossier City, Louisiana, looking for a new liquid liner, Cassie and Grace came to my rescue, yet again! (I swear, the people there and in Shreveport are always super helpful, so make sure to check them out if you’re ever in the area.) They had used the new Lash Domination Ink Liner by bareMinerals, and really loved it. They showed me how well it worked, and OMG, the color was BLACK. It also had actual liquid inside, and the tube even says “Shake, shake, shake,” so this isn’t just a marker. I’m hoping this means it won’t dry out as quickly!
Even if it does dry out fast, the formula and application are near perfect! It goes on smoothly, doesn’t drag or streak, and it lasts all day. I swear, since I got this, I’ve done winged eyeliner EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. If you like winged liner and want something easy to use, this is it!
