For a fresh new look for 2016, why not try a white eyeliner? I’ve always kept a white liner on hand for use on my lower water line because it makes your eyes look insanely huge. But after seeing a couple other bloggers using white eyeliner, I decided to try it, too!
My fave white eyeliner right now is NARS Larger Than Life Long Wear Eyeliner in Santa Monica Blvd. It’s a twist-up, so no sharpening is necessary, but there is a little sharpener in the end just in case you need it. It applies easily, and wears all day.
I went with understated, neutral eyeshadow because I wanted the liner to be the focus. I used White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Semi-Sweet, and Salted Caramel, all from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. I lined only my top eyelashes, and finished with a coat of Urban Decay Perversion mascara. To keep the look classic, I used Lipstick Queen Velvet Rope lipstick in Brat Pack (found here).
I was pretty pleased with the results, a bit more interesting than black liner; and surprisingly, I thought this was sedate enough for regular wear (for me, anyway). I think I’ll try it again and use a thin line black liquid liner after the white, with a wing.
Other products used were: It Cosmetics CC+ Cream, Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder, Kat Von D Shade Light palette for contouring and highlight, Benefit Majorette blush, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Rose Gold, Estee Lauder brown eyeliner pencil for brows, and Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
