The month of July has been full of awesome products, and I’m happy to present one of them to you now.
One of my biggest pet peeves is “quack” skincare ingredients (see this post). I have a handful of fave ingredients that are proven, and when I get to try a product with one or more of those ingredients, I get really excited. So, I was pleased to partner with Vibriance to tell you about their Super C Penetrating Serum!
One thing I really like about Vibriance is the company’s transparency regarding their formula, ingredients, and how the product works. There aren’t a whole lot of companies who are so forthcoming and make this information readily available to anyone who asks. It’s all right there, on their website, if you want to read it for yourself.
Vitamin C is a top skincare ingredient because of its proven ability to increase collagen production. The problem is that many forms only prevent future damage, but don’t reduce current damage. On top of that, the most effective form of the ingredient, L-Ascorbic Acid (actual Vitamin C), is unstable. Once it degrades, which is almost immediately, it’s rendered ineffective- so you’re wasting your money.
Vibriance Super C uses a patented form of the ingredient- Corum 9515, or Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. This form is modified to retain stability and potency after being applied to the skin. This results in not only preventing the signs of aging, but repairing damage that has already been done. Nifty, right?
Vibriance Super C is housed in a convenient, sanitary pump bottle. The bottle is opaque, so the serum is protected from being degraded by light and air. The pump makes dispensing the serum very easy, and you can pump out a little or a lot, whatever you need.
The Vibriance Super C Penetrating Serum itself is clear, very light weight, easy to spread, and readily absorbed. A little bit goes a LONG way. It has a light, natural citrusy scent that dissipates quickly. My skin immediately feels smoother whenever I use this. Even Jerry has been using this, and that says a LOT, because he doesn’t use skincare products. So, he may need to get his own bottle, or at least I should probably hide this one from him!
