Happy end-of-summer! Hope you all enjoyed the fun and sun!
Sadly, after all that time outdoors, many of us are left with dull, discolored skin. Whether we flubbed up on our sun protection, or simply spent a little too much time under the rays, splotchy skin is no fun!
After having tried several products from Valentia, I was pleased to have the opportunity to try out the brand’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer. After being outside almost every day running in the sun, I felt my skin could benefit from a brightening boost!
Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer is purported to lighten dark spots, restore radiance, even skin tone, diminish fine lines, and provide all-day hydration. The product is paraben-free, cruelty-free, and made with natural ingredients.
The formula contains botanical hyaluronic acid to plump skin, support elasticity, and provide moisture. Kojic acid controls melanin production to help prevent dark spots, while ginseng boosts collagen and fights wrinkles. Finally, safflower oil and shea butter are excellent sources of vitamins, and nourish the skin as well as maintain its barrier.
Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer is housed in a dark brown glass pump bottle. The bottle is not only convenient to use as it’s easy to dispense the perfect amount, but it also protects the ingredients from degradation due to exposure to light or air.
If you’re sensitive to fragrance, you have nothing to worry about. This moisturizer has a very light, natural, barely discernible scent. I sometimes fear moisturizers that aren’t oil-free, as I have always had oily skin. But, not to worry, this formula is very hydrating, but not too heavy. The cream is thick, but has a very light texture, if that makes sense…lol! It spreads and absorbs easily without leaving any greasiness, just soft skin!
While I haven’t used this long enough to attest to the effects on any hyperpigmentation or wrinkles, I can say that it leaves my skin moisturized, dewy, and energized, with no heaviness. Plus, it’s only $25 for a generous 4 ounces, so you can’t go wrong!
