Studio Gear Invincible Gel Eyeliner in “Graphite”

As mentioned in a previous post, we haven’t been to Stage since they got rid of Lancome years ago (SO disappointing!). We finally went in, on a whim, because we were bored. Although they have not added Lancome back, they did add a “Beauty Bar,” which includes brands such as Pur Minerals, Cargo, and Studio Gear. I had heard of Studio Gear before, but never got a chance to try any of their products before our Ulta stopped carrying them.

It was also a nice surprise that our friends’ son, Jordan B., now works at the store, and he provided us with fabulous service! (Thank you, Jordan! And tell your parents and sisters “hi” for us!)

I ended up getting a nice little haul from Jordan, as there was a special promotion going on. I got a Studio Gear Invincible Gel Eyeliner in Graphite, a charcoal shade with a hint of very fine shimmer- quite reminiscent of a pencil tip. I was intrigued by this shade because it’s not as harsh as black, and I already have several black gel/cream liners.

The only thing that disappointed me is that I haven’t tried this brand before! According to Studio Gear, this formula applies evenly and smoothly with no skipping, and doesn’t budge once it sets. I was impressed with this liner; they weren’t lying! It went on very smoothly with no drag whatsoever. It was SO easy to apply, especially if you follow MUA Jenna’s tips, found here. It also wore very well, and stayed in place until I removed it five hours later. It still looked perfect, though, so I’m sure it would have lasted even longer had I not removed it.

Another plus is the price; with it being so reasonable, I’m tempted to buy all five shades. Overall, I’m very happy with this liner and now I’m excited to try more Studio Gear products!

Studio Gear Invincible Gel/Cream Eyeliner retails for $16.00 for 0.20 oz.
