One of the best things about subscription boxes is that you’re constantly being surprised every month.  I always look forward, with much anticipation, to these boxes showing up in my mailbox!

The theme for the June Sephora Play! Box is “The Minimalists.”  This is the second month with the new packaging, a drawstring pouch instead of the shredded packing.  Also, instead of being double-boxed, there is just one outer box.  While the pouches are cute, I feel like the shred helps keep the products intact better, especially since the post office can be pretty brutal!

The June Sephora Play! Box contained the following:

bareMinerals BareSkin Sheer Sun Serum Bronzer– I’ve never tried this before, and I like the NARS Laguna liquid bronzer, so I’m looking forward to trying this one from bareMinerals.

Tarte Tarteguard SPF 30 sunscreen– I already have the full size of this, along with several travel size bottles.  I really like it, it’s light weight, and doesn’t cause problems for my oily/combination and sensitive skin.  Since I don’t need the extra, I’ll probably give this away, but it’s an excellent addition to the box for those who haven’t tried it.

Bumble and bumble Don’t Blow It (H)air Styler– I have thick, color treated hair with dried out ends (I need a trim), so any kind of styling or blow dry cream is a welcome addition to my stash.

-Becca Backlight Priming Filter– I know so many YouTubers and bloggers swear by this stuff, but I get nervous at the thought of any type of “glow” product.  This will be a great way to try out the primer without spending a fortune!

-Benefit They’re Real! mascara– Another product that I have the full-size, and multiples of the travel size, so I’ll probably give this away, too.  But, if you haven’t tried it, you’ll love it!  Also, it’s a great product for your travel bag if you don’t already have  few.

Tocca Florence carded fragrance sample– The Sephora Play! Box is the only beauty subscription that I don’t mind getting a fragrance sample in because, thus far, it’s always been included as a sixth bonus item, rather than one of the five.  I do have several of these, though, from Sephora orders (surprise!), so I’ll be giving this away.

Overall, I was pretty pleased with this box.  While there are  at least three products I’ll be giving away, I think they did a good job with the selection.  Well worth the $10!
