Sephora Play! Box: January 2016

Sephora Play January 2016 1

I love subscription boxes- it’s always exciting to unbox them and find out what goodies are inside!  This month’s Sephora Play! box had some great stuff.  The thing is, I have not had good luck with some of the brands, so I’m hoping that will change when I try these new products!

Here’s what I got:

Sephora Play January 2016 2

Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight– I’m not real big on Clinique; I think their packaging, and a lot of their products are outdated and they seriously need a re-vamp.  However, I was pretty impressed when I tried out the Pop Lip Colour at our local Stage store, so this highlighter seems like it may just be pretty nifty- looking forward to trying it.

-Living Proof Style Lab Prime Style Extender Spray– Both my other half and I have been disappointed with every Living Proof product we have tried, except for the dry shampoo.  I’m hoping this will be another winner!

-Dr. Brandt Needles No More Instant Wrinkle Relaxer– First off, I LOVE Dr. Brandt products. I’ve had a few of these same samples, and sadly, it’s the one Dr. Brandt product that has not worked for me- so I’ll probably give this away.  To be fair, I don’t have any deep wrinkles yet, just some lines, and I know others who swear by this stuff.  So, it will make a friend or family member very happy!

-Sephora Lotus Eye Mask– I have terrible allergies and chronic sinusitis.  As such, I love to keep eye masks on hand in the refrigerator.  I actually had this exact mask added to my cart on Sephora’s website the other day- they must have read my mind, good thing I waited!

-Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Original Formula– My regular go-to product of this type is Radical Skincare’s Age Defying Exfoliating Pads.  I’ve had the Dr. Dennis Gross peel before, and I did like it, so this will make a nice addition to my travel case.

-Tocca Isabel fragrance sample vial– I must admit, Tocca makes some great, unique fragrances.  Excited to try this, and again, glad it was included as an extra instead of one of the five items!

Overall, I think Sephora did a great job with this month’s selection.  I was not unhappy with any of the items, and I can’t wait to play around with them!
