As I mentioned in previous posts, Sephora has the BEST packaging of all my beauty subscriptions. If other brands want to compete, they had better step up their game!
I was not disappointed with any of the products in December’s Play! box, so that’s a pretty big deal. This month’s box included:
Dr. Brandt Pore Dermabrasion– This is one of my favorite exfoliants. When Retin-A made my skin very sensitive, yet flaky, this was the only microdermabrasion-like product I could tolerate. It’s also recommended by esthetician, Heather Kent, for home-use in between professional treatments.
Smashbox Full Exposure Eyeshadow Duo– This mini palette has two neutral shades, one matte, one shimmer, so it will be very useful. This was a recent 100 point Beauty Insider perk in stores, so if you missed out, it’s in this box!
Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes Eyeliner– This waterproof formula was created for the Parisian Aquatic Ballet, and has a creamy texture. I usually don’t buy pencil liners, I’m too lazy to sharpen them…lol. But, this will be a great addition to my travel case.
Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Facial Oil– I had a sample of this once, and I actually really liked it. I have oily skin, yet I had no problems with this. If you’re looking for a good facial oil, give this one a try.
Nude Advanced Renewal Serum– I have been pretty pleased with all the Nude Skincare products I have tried- I have had no issues with them, so it’s nice to try another product from the brand. However, I think Sephora kind of “cheesed” out with this, providing just 7 carded blister samples stapled together.
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb fragrance sample– Yet again, Sephora included the fragrance sample in addition to five items- keep up the good work!
Overall, aside from the carded samples, I’m very happy with this month’s Play! box. Do you have a Sephora Play! subscription? What was your fave item? Scroll down to comment below!
