Retin-A: Day 6 (May 19, 2015)

As of day six, I have still tolerated the Retin-A quite well.  I have applied every night, without fail.  Although, some people may need to start off applying just once or twice per week, depending on sensitivity.  Your doctor can help you determine frequency.

Morning

I washed my face with Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser.  After cleansing, I used Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment, Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Fast-Acting Serum, and Tarteguard SPF 30.

Evening

I washed my face with my Clarisonic & Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip cleanser, then exfoliated with Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu powder, and used AmorePacific Moisturebound Skin Energy Hydration mist.  After approximately 30 minutes or so, I applied a pea-sized amount of 0.025% tretinoin. I waited about an hour, then used 3Lab The Cream. I also used Algenist Complete Renewal Eye Balm due to being concerned with fine lines temporarily developing in the eye area.

Effects

No real irritation, I noticed fine lines and crows feet in the eye area have become more prominent, so I used Algenist eye balm.  This is a temporary effect many people experience.  A lot of people either give up, or never start, using tretinoin around the eye area because of this.  However, if you persevere, after six to nine months, the results will be well worth it!
