Organic Aromas Elements 1

Hey everyone, how goes it?

If you saw our blog post about the Organic Aromas Raindrop diffuser (read it here), then you know how amazing this company is!  Jerry and I are both in love with the diffuser because it’s so unique in how it works (make sure you read the post, really, it’s that awesome).  Well, not only are their diffusers unique, but so are their essential oil blends.

In addition to the diffuser, we also got the brand’s The Elements Premium Essential Oil Blends Collection.  The full set of ten consists of the Awaken and Inspire blends (each a subset of five), but you can get each set separately, too.

Each blend was crafted with skill and insight, mixed for a specific purpose and intention.  The blends have a wide variety of therapeutic applications and benefits.  They’re all truly unique, and unlike other blends on the market (Organic Aromas, n.d.).

I love how the sets are packaged so that when the full set is together, the boxes make a yin yang.  Each set contains five blends- some I like better than others, but none are unpleasant, and we’ve gotten use out of each one of them.

Organic Aromas Awaken 1

The Awaken set consists of Morning Bloom, Butterflies Breath, Celebration, Harmony and Jubilation.  The Inspire set includes Pacific Northwest, Ocean Breeze, Formosa, Meditation and Welcome Home.  If you’d like to know what’s in each blend, you can read about them here.

Organic Aromas Inspire 1

I have horrific allergies, and with the Louisiana weather and all the rain, the pollen still hasn’t dried up, so I’ve felt like crap.  We used the Harmony, which really did help me breathe a bit better, and I used my inhaler less than I would have otherwise.  Jerry thought it smelled a tiny bit medicinal, but not in a negative or unpleasant way.

Another one I was particularly impressed with was Ocean Breeze.  At first, I was a bit worried when I saw the name of this.  Many candle and fragrance companies name a fragrance “ocean something-or-other,” but it just smells like men’s cologne.  Although that’s preferable to dead fish, it isn’t really ocean.  Well, that wasn’t the case with Organic Aromas Ocean Breeze.

If you’re familiar with the Martin Margiela Replica line of fragrances, this is a similar concept.  Margiela blends fragrances to capture a mood, but not in the way you may think.  For example, the fragrance “Lipstick On” doesn’t smell like a waxy tube of lipstick- it evokes the feelings of and transports you to that type of moment.

Organic Aromas Ocean Breeze truly invoked the feelings of relaxing at the beach.  This is one I really appreciated because I haven’t been to the beach in years, even though it’s my favorite place in the world!  The blend consists of peppermint, sweet fennel, cajeput, lime, eucalyptus, rosemary and coriander.  I’m not sure what exactly makes it seem “ocean-y,” but it does.  These people really know what they’re doing!

My absolute favorite of all, though, is Meditation.  I find it difficult to slow down and relax because I feel like it’s a lazy thing to do.  So, when I’m worn out, I still can’t get myself to just chill out.  The Meditation blend from the Inspire set is truly amazing, and not only does it help calm me, but it smells SO good- this is probably Jerry’s fave, as well.

We’ve both been really happy with the Organic Aromas Raindrop diffuser as well as The Elements Essential Premium Essential Oil Blends Collection.  I absolutely recommend the diffuser and the entire set!  Or, at least get one of the diffusers and a few of the oils- they do sell them individually, and they’re reasonably priced, too!
