I have absolutely adored every Omorovicza product I have tried, and the Blue Diamond Resurfacing Peel was no exception. I have always used stronger exfoliants, with more harsh ingredients. My skin was never sensitive, and could withstand almost anything. I felt like gentle products just didn’t work well enough.
When I started using tretinoin, my skin became much more sensitive, and was more easily irritated. So many peels would make my skin break out, or become inflamed. When I heard about the Blue Diamond Peel, I knew I had to get my hands on it.
The pearlescent peel is very gentle, with a slight fragrance. Even those who are sensitive to fragrance should not be bothered too much by it as it dissipates quickly. I didn’t feel any graininess or anything irritating. However, due to the lactic acids, my skin somehow felt so much smoother afterward.
The only negatives about this product are the price and that it comes in a jar. Although they do give you a little spatula to help with cleanliness and to keep germs out, I wish it came in a tube or pump. It is easily transferred into another container, though. As far as price goes, it is still cheaper than going to a spa.
Overall, this product is an absolute “win.” I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially those with sensitive skin that is easily irritated.
