Well, the weekend has come to an end. Is everyone ready for Monday?
We haven’t done a favorites post in a long time, so after experiencing some fantastic products this month, we figured it was about time do another one! Since it’s been a while, we’ve got quite a few to go through…lol! There were a LOT of other great products, but I HAD to narrow it down (yep, THIS is the narrowed down version…!), so, with the exception of the hair color, these are all products that I use at least every day or every other day. Enjoy!
Don’t forget to check out the short video at the bottom for more info!
Madison Reed Color Reviving Gloss
-This is one of the best, if not THE best, home hair color products I’ve ever used. It’s perfect for reviving my color in between visits to the salon. They also have permanent hair color- which is awesome when I’m doing a single, all-over color, rather than the fancy-schmancy stuff I don’t trust myself to do…lol! (See my full review here).
GoSmile Sonic Blue Teeth Whitening System
-The thing I don’t like about whitening strips is they’re time-consuming and annoying. With the GoSmile Sonic Blue, I can whiten my teeth just by brushing twice a day, which is something we all do anyway. Just add equal parts of the whitening gel and your fave toothpaste, and brush! (Read my full review here).
Juice Beauty GREEN APPLE Brightening Essence
-Fantastic essence, can be used immediately following your toner, or you can even use it as a toner itself. It adds an extra punch of nutrients to your skin to help keep your complexion bright and glowing. (Full product review here).
Fresh FRESHFACE Luminizer in Sunset
-This isn’t just any luminizer or highlighter- it’s actually a skincare product! This Fresh luminizing moisturizer can be applied by itself, mixed with your foundation, or used on top of makeup for strobing, whatever you desire. And it’s a sophisticated glow, perfect for during the day or at work. (Our full review is here).
StriVectin Dual Hyaluronic Serum
-This has been my go-to hydrating serum lately. It makes my skin super hydrated without any greasiness or stickiness. It spreads easily and wears well by itself, or with other skincare products, and under makeup with no balling up. (See my full review here).
-One of my fave glow oils, and gives me a feeling of an endless summer. Great for my shoulders, neck, chest, and even in my hair, as it has a slight luminous shimmer. (Read our review here).
Colorescience All Calm Clinical Redness Corrector SPF 50
-This is the Holy Grail of redness camouflage. It’s not makeup, so it works with all skin tones, and it neutralizes redness. It’s also got a SPF of 50, so it does double duty. (Read my full review here).
Pixi Glow Tonic & Glow Tonic To Go
-This toner contains 5% glycolic acid which helps gently exfoliate the skin, resulting in a healthy glow. It’s great for getting rid of traces of impurities left behind after cleansing, too. Thankfully, I have a full year’s supply on-hand…lol! (Read more here).
Skinfix Calm & Repair Sleeping Mask
-Most of the overnight masks I’ve seen address hydration, pores, and pigmentation. This one actually deals with redness and irritation. I recently started using a stronger retinoid, which has resulted in redness, peeling, and irritation, and this mask has done wonders. (Read our review here).
Omorovicza Midnight Radiance Mask
-I can’t begin to describe how much I love this mask. I’ve been alternating between this one and the Skinfix, with fantastic results. This mask contains one of my fave ingredients, salicylic acid, which is not only a super-gentle exfoliant, but it’s oil soluble so it penetrates deep into the pores to help reduce and prevent black heads and blemishes. Plus, it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation! (See our full review here).
Fenty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in “Trophy Wife”
-When I saw the Fenty display in Sephora on the day it was released, I was mesmerized by the gold glitter. I had never seen a highlighter quite like this before, so even though I already have more highlighters than I can count, I just HAD to have this! (Read our review here).
-The best thing about this mascara is its versatility. With one coat, I can get a voluminous, yet more sedate look that’s appropriate for work. With two or three coats, I can get the same bombshell lashes that I get with Too Faced’s Better Than Sex. (Read our review here).
Buxom Full On Lipstick in Bombay
-I absolutely LOVE the convenience of this stuff- I don’t need a separate lip liner, and the color is perfect for any outfit. I can dress up or down, and no matter what, this stuff looks great. Plus, it’s NOT drying! (Read our review here).
Ilia Lip Conditioner in “Darlin”
-With all the drying super-matte lipsticks out there today, this is a welcome change. It’s a lip conditioner with color, so I feel more “polished” even on days that I don’t want to wear makeup. Plus, it has SPF, which helps protect delicate lip tissue from the drying sun. (Read our review here).
Prestige Cosmetics Colossal Ink Pen
-One of the best liquid eyeliner pens I’ve used. It doesn’t dry out as fast as the Kat Von D Tattoo liner, and it lasts longer than the similar one from Cargo. Since it’s chunky, it’s easier to grip and more “user friendly,” allowing for easy winged looks. (See it here.)
Steiner California Sun Glow Bronzer
-Not only is this the absolute cutest bronzer I’ve ever seen, as it comes in a reusable terra cotta pot, but the color is fab. It’s the perfect shade of bronze, and it has just the right amount of shimmer to give a great glow, without looking like a middle school glitter project. (Read my full review here).
NeoStrata Skin Active Intensive Eye Therapy
-A fantastic eye cream that addresses multiple issues all in just one product. Great for puffiness, bags, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation. I even stashed it in the fridge to take the soothing factor a step further, so even my allergy eyes look and feel better! (See my full review here).
Ren Perfect Canvas Silicone Free Skin Finishing Serum
-This is a serum that acts a primer, so your makeup goes on perfectly. It contains NO silicones- they use agave instead, and it’s actually good for your skin. Best part? I get the same smoothing effect that I get with heavy silicones! (Read my review here).
Elemis Gentle Foaming Facial Wash
-This is the first Elemis cleanser I’ve tried, and the first that is used in a certain way- spread it onto your skin, then wet your hands and massage it into a foam. Neat huh? It gets my skin super clean without stripping away moisture. (Read full review here).
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream
-Absolute HOLY GRAIL of all Holy Grails. THIS is the reason we did a favorites- even if I hadn’t tried so many great products (over 60 new products in October…lol), I would HAVE to do a faves post just because of this stuff. It’s easy to see why people switch from LaMer to this- it’s perfect. It’s thick, but not suffocating, and it’s easy to spread- so it even works on my super oily skin, so it truly works for all skin types. (See my full review here).
Whew! That was a LOT to type out…lol! Don’t forget to check out our video down below for more deets!
