Nobody Noticed My Green Lipstick!

So, I did a look previously with Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss Lipstick in “Plan 9” (found here) but didn’t wear it out in public.  Jerry has been trying to talk me into being more adventurous, and after wearing blue in the Shreveport-Bossier City area, I decided to give the green a go.  Only this time, in a smaller city.

I pictured the experience in my head- that I would get all sorts of different reactions, and be able to post about them.  I figured people would think I was “weird” (I am), or they would be put off, and maybe even a few people might be intrigued.  Now, I’m pretty good at judging reactions, even when people don’t say anything.  When confronted with something “different,” most people at least give a second glance, or have some sort of nonverbal reaction. I got NO REACTIONS WHATSOEVER!

I went to the grocery store, to get gas, and nothing.  We have an issue with a water line in our laundry room, so I even went to the laundromat, sat there for 25 minutes washing a load of clothes, and nothing.  While I was somewhat disappointed that no one reacted, it made me realize how far the beauty world has come.  Anything goes, and beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder!
