When I was contacted by Nayelle to test out their new line of probiotic skin care products, I was intrigued by the concept, so I jumped at the chance. I’m glad I did!
100% bio-active all natural and organic probiotic skincare by Nayelle was created by Peter Jurkemik, a biochemist who conducted in-depth research into skin care ingredients. He found the four most valuable and beneficial ingredients to be probiotic goat milk kefir, seal kelp, glacial oceanic clay, and snow mushroom. These ingredients are formulated to be “bio-actively” available to the skin, resulting in rejuvenation and radiance (Nayelle, 2016).
To me, one of the most impressive aspects of this regimen is that there are no fillers, the products are formulated with 100% active ingredients. In a study, as a result of the high-quality formulas, 93% of participants reported smoother skin, 86% rated the product high for reduction of wrinkles, 86% reported satisfactory hydration, and 100% said they would replace their current anti-aging product with Nayelle (Nayelle, 2016).
As the company just launched on November 1, there are only four products currently available. The rejuvenating regimen consists of the Glacial Cleanser, Glacial Oceanic Clay mask, Hydrate moisturizer, and Rejuvenate night cream. The four core products the brand launched with were very well thought out, so you can be assured of your skin getting all the nutrients it needs.
CLEANSE
The Nayelle Glacial Cleanser is a gentle, non-irritating cleansing cream that rids the skin of environmental pollutants as well as makeup. The formula is enriched with exfoliating bamboo and minerals from natural glacial oceanic clay. These ingredients help with the removal of dry skin cells that create a dull complexion. The bamboo and clay also help stimulate the skin, which helps improve circulation and regeneration (Nayelle, 2016).
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, over-exfoliation can be worse than not exfoliating at all. Some exfoliating cleansers are much too harsh, and can irritate the skin if used too often. The thing I like about Nayelle Glacial Cleanser is that the bamboo particles are not very concentrated- there aren’t a lot of them, and they’re very fine. This means you can control the amount of exfoliation you get. I do wish this had a pump or a flip-cap, though. When you have to unscrew a cap, it’s difficult to use the cleanser one-handed, such as while in the shower.

The cleanser has a light, fresh scent that isn’t overwhelming. I have severe allergies, and it doesn’t bother me at all, it’s actually quite nice. I have hypersensitive skin from using tretinoin, and this cleanser does not irritate me in any way. Once a week, I massage my face for a minute or so while I’m washing it to allow the bamboo particles to exfoliate. The rest of the time, I massage the cleanser in my hands, then lightly wash my face, because I don’t need the exfoliation. Either way, the Nayelle Glacial Cleanser does a great job of removing impurities without stripping my skin.
PURIFY
The Nayelle Glacial Oceanic Clay masque contains a high concentration of glacial oceanic clay. This clay is found exclusively in the wilderness of Northern Canada. The mask helps purify and hydrate the skin by addressing the damage caused by environmental pollutants (Nayelle, 2016).
The exclusive clay is different from any other clay on the market because it contains 60 rare earth minerals with sea ions. When applied to the skin, positively charged impurities are “magnetically” bound, so to speak, to the clay’s negative charge (Nayelle, 2016).
I really, really like this mask. I must warn you, though, that it’s a thinner consistency than most other clay or mud masks. When I opened it and proceeded to squeeze some out, it spewed all over due to the more liquid consistency. No worries, though, it was VERY easy to clean up. This isn’t a negative, I just wanted to prepare you for it!
The mask didn’t have a heavy scent, it was just very natural and light. Due to the consistency, it dried quickly, it didn’t pull my skin as much as other masks- it was much more comfortable. It was also extremely easy to rinse off, so it was a true pleasure to use. My skin was left very clean, my pores appeared almost non-existent, and my face was so soft and smooth!
HYDRATE
Nayelle Probiotic Moisturizing Day Cream contains a high concentration of snow mushroom, which is nature’s highest source of Vitamin D, and is purportedly three times more hydrating than hyaluronic acid (Nayelle, 2016).
One thing I tend to worry about with moisturizers is heaviness. I have oily/combination skin, and products that are too heavy tend to leave me shiny almost immediately. I didn’t experience that with Nayelle. It was easy to apply, readily absorbed, and my skin felt moisturized and soft.
Nayelle Hydrate, while containing some super-moisturizing ingredients, such as jojoba oil, in addition to the snow mushroom, was rich but at the same time not overly heavy, if that makes sense…lol! In other words, it’s very hydrating, but I didn’t feel like my skin was “suffocating,” and I wasn’t left feeling greasy. I may need to re-evaluate in the summer down here in the south, but with the drier fall air, I’ve had no issues.
REJUVENATE
Nayelle Rejuvenate Probiotic Anti-Aging Night Cream contains all four of the brand’s core ingredients: probiotic goat milk peptides, fermented sea kelp, snow mushroom, and glacial oceanic clay. These key ingredients, which are rich in proteins, fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, help replenish the skin and slow the aging process (Nayelle, 2016).
An independent scientific study showed that Nayelle’s Rejuvenate helped boost the skin’s collagen and elastin, which in turn diminished the signs of aging and revealed a glowing, more youthful appearance (Nayelle, 2016).
Again, with my oily/combination skin, I tend to worry about products being too heavy. When I think of night creams, I always remember back to my grandma’s petroleum jelly-based night cream. While it seemed to work for her, I cringe at the thought of it for me! With Nayelle Rejuvenate, I had nothing to worry about- it was very hydrating, but it didn’t clog my pores, and there were no spots left on my pillow, as is common with other products. Jerry has dry skin, and when he tried Rejuvenate, it worked just as well for him.
Overall, I was very pleased with the Nayelle Rejuvenating regimen. While I can’t yet attest to the long-term anti-aging effects, I can say my skin was left hydrated, soft, and glowing. If you’re looking for a high-quality anti-aging skincare regimen, Nayelle may be just what you need.
