Happy Friday!!! I was going to post this last night, but ended up at the doctor for conjunctivitis. So, it wasn’t exactly a fantabulous day! Feeling much better now, though!

Needless to say, I was so happy when I got another box in the mail from Pixi Beauty, and it contained four of the brand’s fabulous face mists. Be still, my beating heart! Inside this coveted box was the brand’s cult-favorite Glow Mist, along with Hydrating Milky Mist, Makeup Fixing Mist, and the new Vitamin Wakeup Mist. HELL. YES. My day just got a LOT better!
Glow Mist
I’ll start with the Glow Mist, since it’s SO popular! This magical wonder mist purportedly gives a luminous, smooth, glowing complexion with 13 natural oils, propolis, aloe vera, and fruit extracts. Not only does it hydrate, protect, nourish, and add a dewy finish, but you can also use it to set makeup (Pixi-Sjovik, 2017). This is one of those that you need to shake, so you can get a bit of cardio in if you want- multi-task while you multi-mist (sorry, I’m delirious from lack of sleep…lol!).
First off, this mist smells slightly like pickles! I thought it may just be me, so I sprayed it at Jerry, and he said the same thing, without knowing what I thought. It dissipates super-fast, though, so no worries. Plus, I LOVE pickles, so even if the scent stayed, I’d be totally okay with it! Glow Mist is perfect on its own, or over makeup, I’ve been misting away, and love the glowing, dewy finish.
Makeup Fixing Mist
This all-over setting spray helps your makeup wear longer and keeps it from melting, moving, and settling into fine lines. Where have you been all my life, Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist…?!?!? The formula is infused with rose water and green tea to help protect, comfort and balance the skin while hydrating, balancing and extending the wear of makeup (Pixi-Sjovik, 2017).
I really liked this mist, and it did a great job of setting my makeup. I happen to love the smell of roses in skincare, but I know a lot of people don’t. If you’re one of those people who doesn’t, then you’ll appreciate this- it’s not overly strong or overpowering, and the scent dissipates very quickly.
Hydrating Milky Mist
The Pixi Beauty Hydrating Milky Mist provides an instant, feather light surge of moisture with skin-plumping hyaluronic acid. A black oat, provitamin A, and linoleic acid blend makes this formula perfect for rejuvenating the skin prior to using serums or makeup (Pixi-Sjovik, 2017).
I love floral scents, and this mist has a very light, elegant floral aroma. If you’re sensitive to fragrance, though, again, it goes away quickly. I love that I can get a nice layer of moisture, without any heaviness or greasiness. This will be perfect for this summer- I will only need this along with a serum, and my skin will be good to go!
Vitamin Wakeup Mist
This is one of Pixi’s new products, and it’s Jerry’s favorite of all the mists- I may have to hide it from him…lol! The orange blossom water base contains skin-loving citrus extracts, lavender, and arginine that help strengthen and tone the skin. Additionally, it cools, refreshes and wakes up the skin while adding a protective, hydrating veil.
Omg, this stuff smells so good! It smells like fresh oranges! Again, though, no worries if you’re sensitive, because the scent goes away almost immediately, but it does wake me up a bit! I love that I can tone my skin without having to use a cotton pad, a lot less waste, and the mist is so much faster. My skin is soft and dewy when I use this, and it doesn’t affect my other skincare products or makeup.
Overall, I’m super happy with all four of these mists, and I cannot seem to pick a favorite…lol! Also, the price is very nice- especially when there are some mists out there that are between fifty and a hundred dollars. These are just FIFTEEN dollars each, for a FULL SIZE face mist!
