Yep, unfortunately, you read that title right. An item was missing out of my May Glam Bag.
Normally, I’m really excited when my Ipsy bag arrives, it’s always exciting to get to try five new products each month. Except this month it is just four.
I was also supposed to get a Jelly Pong Pong eyeshadow duo, but for some reason, as Murphy’s Law would have it, it didn’t make it into my bag. Bummer! I will say, though, that after subscribing to Ipsy for several years, this is the FIRST time an item has been missing. I’ve had a damaged item- a tube of lotion was smashed by the post office, and Ipsy replaced the whole bag, and everything in it!
When I messaged Ipsy about my missing eyeshadow, I received a response within a day that they would go ahead and get one shipped to me. The only problem is that it will take 5-7 days for it to even be processed, then it has to get here. And Ipsy’s shipping is SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO SLLLOOOOWWWWWWW. But, that’s the trade-off for getting such great stuff at a low price. As they’re only human, I’ll forgive them… this time…lol!
I guess the fact that I love all my items this month, and the bag itself is super cute, help make up for the late-arriving Jelly Pong Pong. So, aside from the missing eyeshadow, here’s what was in my bag:
-It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara– I love the products I’ve tried from It Cosmetics, so I’m really excited about trying this one out. Especially since I don’t have the patience, or the desire, to wear falsies every day!
–Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Highlighter in Sin– One can never have too many highlighters these days, right?!?! I love my UD eyeshadow in Sin, so I’ll pair it with this highlighter and be sinful…lol!
-Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray– OMG this stuff smells SO good! I can’t wait to get it on my hair after I shower!
Overall, I’m super excited about everything I got, and when I get the Jelly Pong Pong eyeshadow, it will be like getting yet another package in the mail. Even without the eyeshadow (which is full size), the products I did actually receive are well-worth the price I paid.
If you’d like to give Ipsy a try, it’s just $10 per month, shipping is free, and you can cancel any time. You’ll ALWAYS get MORE than $10 worth of products. Just click here or visit Ipsy for more info or to sign up!
