Illamasqua?  Nudestix?  Hell, yeah!  I was super happy when I saw that Ipsy was sending out stuff from these brands for March- until I found out what I was getting.  No Illamasqua or Nudestix for me- instead I got NYX.  I  have no desire for NYX.  Well, poo.

So, after not getting what I was actually confirmed to get in my Birchbox, I was heartbroken with Ipsy, too.  The items weren’t bad, but it such a letdown to not get either of the items that had my heart racing. 🙁

Here’s what was in my Glam Bag:

Global Beauty Care Premium Dead Sea Wash-Off Mask– I love mud masks, so this looks like it might be promising.

Me Me Me Powder Brush– I can always use a great brush, I never tire of them.  Although this is full-size, the brush head isn’t as big as my professional brushes- this will be great for my travel case.  And it’s SO soft!

Temptu Bronzer in Warm Glow– Bronzers are always useful.  I really liked the Temptu highlighter, so I’m looking forward to trying out this bronzer.

Living Proof Dry Shampoo Spray– I actually already have this.  The dry shampoo is the ONLY Living Proof product I like.  This is a great item to get!

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick– So not happy with this.  I would have much preferred the Illamasqua or Nudestix (are you reading this, Ipsy…???)  Nothing against NYX, but I signed up for Ipsy to try out new things, and NYX products are a dime a dozen and available everywhere.  I also  do NOT like pink, fuschia, or magenta shades.  So NOT me.  At least it’s a full-size product, though, and I’m sure most other people would be really excited about this!

Oh, yeah, and the bag this month is kind of cute.  More often than not, I think the bags are kind of ugly.  Although I’m not very girly, this one is actually pretty nifty!  Despite my disenchantment with the NYX, everything I got in the bag was worth a LOT more than the $10 I paid.  So, overall, I’m pretty pleased!

Ipsy is just $10 a month, shipping is free, and you’ll always get far more than $10 worth of products.  If you’d like to subscribe, click here!
