Make Up For Ever Invisible Cover Stick Foundation

I first tried this foundation when Amanda A. at the Shreveport Sephora Inside JCPenney used it on me in a VIB Rouge makeover, found here. I absolutely loved the finish, and it wore very well. My only complaint at the time was that I got slightly oily later on. However, with winter and drier weather just around the corner, this will be PERFECT, so I went ahead and bought it.

Although it’s not winter yet, it is the first week of October, and the weather was a bit cooler today. I wore this foundation all day, and although I got slightly oily at the end of the night, it was less than when I wore this before. So, I am going to make sure to wear it with primer for the rest of the month; and I am confident this will be absolutely spot-on, even without primer, for this winter.

If you just smear this stick all over your face, you are in for disappointment. It is important to note there is a very specific way that Make Up For Ever recommends applying this foundation. You are supposed to dot it onto your face, then use a buffing brush to blend (I use my Urban Decay Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush).  See photo below for application.  Finish with your favorite powder, and voila!

Make Up For Ever Invisible Cover Stick Foundation retails for $43.00 for 0.44 oz.
