Lipstick Queen Let Them Eat Cake

Yet another hit from Lipstick Queen!  According to the company’s website, Let Them Eat Cake is described as “a delicate lilac lipstick shot through with sugary rose gold sparkles that will light up your entire look.”  Poppy King created this lipstick to pay homage to Marie Antoinette’s rejection of the ordinary, and her lavish tastes.  The metallic, shimmery finish adds an edgy touch to this gorgeous pastel shade that is suitable for any skin tone.

The formula glides on like silk and is enriched with apricot kernel oil and vitamin E.  This lipstick can be worn alone, or over another lipstick.  I didn’t get as much wear out of this as I do with the Velvet Rope and Silver Screen formulas, but it still wore well, especially for being so light and moisture-rich.  It also comes in the same style of tube as Velvet Rope and Silver Screen, a square metal tube with a magnetic closure.

This is a gorgeous lipstick, and I’m sure I will actually run out because I use this quite frequently.  Let Them Eat Cake is versatile, beautiful, and FUN!  Now I’m hungry…

Lipstick Queen Let Them Eat Cake retails for $50.00.
