June 2018 Ipsy Glam Bag!

Whew!  It’s been a good while since we’ve posted- I don’t think we’ve EVER gone this long before.  First I got sick, then Jerry got sick, then Jerry got sick again.   With Jerry, I ended up doing ALL the house stuff, my share plus his (at my own insistence) so he could relax and recover.  SO, I didn’t get ANYTHING done that I needed to get done.

Both on the mend now, but we’ve had doctors’ appointments, pharmacy trips, then when we started feeling better, SO many family events all at once.  Arrgghh!  Hopefully things will be back to normal for a while now.  As Murphy’s Law always seems to apply to me, I’m keeping my fingers crossed…lol!

Another thing we haven’t done in a while is an Ipsy post, so in keeping with this post’s theme of being neglectful, I decided to do one!  Plus, this month’s Glam Bag honors a cause that’s important to me- Pride month!  The bags are reminiscent of rainbow stripes, and the one I received is in sunny yellow shades.

My bag contained:

-Kaleido Cosmetics Skin Blush in “Prom Queen”– This gorgeous shade is a luminous highlighter, and it’s full size.

-Innisfree Intensive Hydrating Serum with Green Tea Seed– One of K-Beauty’s most popular and best-selling brands, so I was really excited to get this!

-MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base– I’ve tried this primer before, so it’s nice to have an extra to stash in my travel bag.  But, it would be nice if it had enough for more than one or two uses…lol.

-Adesse New York Lip Polish Luxury Lip Gloss in “Skinny Dip”– I got a nail color from this brand before and liked it, so this was a welcome product, and the brand’s shades are stunning.  Plus, another full-sized product!

-Dr. Lili Fan Probiotic Eye Repair Cream– I love probiotic skincare, so I was happy to see this, and I’m sure it will be fab.

And, I decided to use some points (more on that below) and chose a full-size MPrincess loose eye pigment in a beautiful summer shade called “Clay.”  I so can’t wait to try it!

Overall, I was really happy with this month’s products, and loved getting two full-sized products, well worth the $10 price tag.  If you’re new to Ipsy, you can earn points for doing simple little reviews of the products in your Glam Bags.  You can then use the points to get extra products.  The points accrue fairly quickly, and I’ve gotten full-size Lime Crime liquid lipstick, skincare, even whole palettes!  You also get points if your friends sign up- so more free stuff for you AND your friends!

Click here if you’d like to learn more, or subscribe.  Ipsy is just $10 per month, shipping is free, and you can cancel any time, no questions asked.  You always get at least five products, and they’re always valued at more than the $10!  Enjoy!
