I look forward to my beauty subscriptions each month, even when I already know what I’m getting. This month, I knew I would be getting an Urban Decay eyeshadow, and a Colourpop eyeliner, I just didn’t know what shades, so there was still a surprise in store!
Let me just say, the June Ipsy bag is awesome! My only problem is that there are three products that I got the shade I did NOT want- it would have been awesome if even one of the shades would have been good for me. Also, it seemed like this bag too FOREVER to get to me. It doesn’t normally take very long, but after getting notification that it had shipped, it seems like DHL just let it sit somewhere for two weeks 🙁
My June bag, with a really bada$$ graffiti design, contained the following:
-Colourpop Crème Gel Liner in Get Paid or Swerve– I got “Get Paid,” which is a gorgeous bronze, but it just doesn’t show up on my medium-toned skin. This makes me sad because I know I would have loved Swerve!
-Peter Lamas Youth Revival 5 Oil Hair Treatment Mask– I have long, color-treated, dry, damaged hair, so I’m glad to have gotten his, and can’t wait to try it out!
-Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Fireball or Lounge– I really would have loved “Fireball,” but of course, I got “Lounge.” Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great shade, but I already have several like it.
-Rodial Stem Cell Cleansing Cream– I really like all the Rodial products I have tried, so I’m looking forward to trying out this cleanser. I do, however, roll my eyes when products use “stem cells,” not really fond of “buzz words”…lol 😉
-Be a Bombshell Pout Potion in Famous or Secret– Famous is a magenta, Secret is a nude. I HATE pinks and magentas, so, as luck would have it (or NOT in my case), I got Famous. Don’t get me wrong, if you like berries and pinks, this is a gorgeous shade, it’s just not for me. But, it IS a great formula, and works awesome by itself or over lipstick!
So, although I’m disappointed that out of three products, I didn’t even get ONE with a shade I liked, the June Glam Bag was actually pretty fabulous. The reason I can’t complain is because there were TWO FULL SIZE products in this bag!! How awesome is THAT…?!?!?! Even better still, the price of the bag was just $10, with free shipping, so getting two full size products, but three travel sized products, and a super cute bag, it’s a win!
If you’d like to subscribe to Ipsy, it’s just $10 per month, shipping is always free, and you’ll get five products in a makeup bag. You can cancel anytime, no questions asked! For more information or to subscribe, click here!
