Oh. Em. Gee. I was SO ecstatic when I got these in- I couldn’t wait to tear open the box and try these out! I got Masochist, Dirty Money, Dominatrix, Jaw Breaker, Posh Spice, and I’m Nude.
I hate to say it, but Jeffree Star has just knocked Kat Von D to the curb. As much as I love Kat’s Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, I have never been a fan of how drying the formula is. The Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks are thinner, lighter weight, just as pigmented, apply more smoothly, and wear just as long. Jeffree Star’s applicator is also better- the shape picks up the perfect amount, and allows for easier application. The best part, though, is that they aren’t as drying as Kat Von D’s.
In comparison, Kat does have one over on Jeffree in that she has more shades available, but he is continuously adding more. Prices are comparable, but the other negative is that you can only purchase Jeffree Star lipsticks online, and I could not find any type of free shipping offer- no matter how much you spend.
Posh Spice
My favorites are Dirty Money, Dominatrix, and Posh Spice- I liked Posh Spice so much that I decided to put it back on and wear it all day after trying them all…lol 🙂 Dirty Money and Jaw Breaker are very fun, but not really for “every day” wear. I’m Nude was fabulous, too, but I already have several nude lipsticks. Masochist was nice, but again, I already have several similar shades.
