I was pretty pleased with this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag, even the bag itself was kind of cute! I’m not very girly, but the design appealed to the artist in me. Also, most of the products were pretty great!
My January Ipsy Glam Bag included:
theBalm Mr. Write (NOW) Eyeliner in Scott B. Bordeaux, full size– In general, I’ve been pretty happy with all the products I’ve tried from the Balm. Having green eyes, I love to use plum eyeliners, so this will be fun to try!
Skone Smudger brush, full size– A good brush is always a welcome addition, especially when it’s one that’s unlike any I already have. I’ve never heard of this brand, so I’m looking forward to using it.
Hanalei Sugar Lip Scrub– With winter and drier weather here, chapped, cracked, peeling lips are here, too. Super excited about a new sugar scrub to help make my lips soft and smooth!
Pixi by Petra Mineral Duo eyeshadow in Lavender Bloom– I usually don’t use mineral eyeshadows because so many of them tend to crease on me after a couple hours. It will be great if I can find one that doesn’t because the finish on them is so pretty. Plus, since again, Ipsy got the shades right for my green eyes, it will be a pleasure to try these.
Burt’s Bees Cleansing Oil- Strangely enough, I have never tried any of the Burt’s Bees products, except for the lip balms. It will be nice to try another product from the brand.
Overall, I’m VERY happy with this month’s contents. With an Ipsy subscription, you ALWAYS get more than what you pay for. theBalm eyeliner alone retails for $17.00, and the Skone Smudger brush retails for $15.00. So, just two out of five (six counting the bag) items retail for $32.00. Definitely worth the $10 price!
If you’ve been wanting to try new brands, but don’t want to pay the price, consider Ipsy. It’s just $10 a month, shipping is FREE, and you can cancel anytime. If you get one bag and don’t like it, you can cancel. (But, I have a sneaking suspicion you’ll love it!) If you click here –> Subscribe to Ipsy for Just $10/month, there is NO waiting list right now, at this very moment! It said no waiting list for “48 hours,” but I’m not sure when that 48 hours started- good luck, and may the Force be with you!
