I just did a glycolic peel Saturday night, so my skin has been “crusty” and peeling.  Yeah, I know, ewww… Let me just say- it takes a helluva lot of willpower for me not to pick or pull at it!  Ewww again…

Finally, it’s starting to get a lot better, so I used my Tatcha Indigo Soothing Rice Enzyme Powder.  This stuff is ahhhh-mazing!  I have several enzyme exfoliating powders on hand (more info here), but the Tatcha Indigo is made specially for sensitive skin, which is exactly what I have right now.

I used the powder right after I showered, while my skin was still wet, and the flakes were soft from the heat and steam.  Since it’s so gentle, it didn’t cause any irritation or removal of flakes that weren’t ready to come off.  I probably could have even used this yesterday or the day before, but after going to all the trouble of doing the peel, I’d hate to jeopardize my results!

If you have sensitive skin, eczema, or use tretinoin, this is a fantastic, non-irritating option for gentle exfoliation.  There are no harsh granules or particles, just fine powder- the enzymes do all the work.  Even if you don’t have sensitive skin, this is a great option if you like to use this type of product on a daily basis.  I don’t even feel the need to use a toner afterward- it’s that awesome!

There are three other enzyme powders available from Tatcha, Classic, Gentle, and Deep; so there’s something for everyone, no matter what type of skin you have.

You can get the size I have, which lasts me a month or two, for just $15, with FREE shipping, and you get to pick three free samples.  The full size is also available for $65.  Just click the banner below to get yours now, or check out all Tatcha has to offer!
