According to Hourglass, Immaculate is a breakthrough liquid-to-powder formula. It not only absorbs oil, but camouflages imperfections with a velvet matte finish.
This foundation has an absolutely beautiful finish. If you are extremely oily, you may still need a setting powder, but I did not. The only downfall is that you must work quickly because it dries to a powder finish almost immediately. Put your Beauty Blender away, as sponge application is not recommended. However, they do recommend using a brush for an airbrushed finish, which is what I did.
This wore all day for me when used with my Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I find that many other powder foundation formulas oxidize and turn orange on me over time. That was not the case with this; I didn’t notice any oxidation at all. Another plus is that it did not settle into any fine lines like Benefit’s Big Easy did on me.
If you are in the market for a matte finish foundation, give Hourglass Immaculate a shot, you won’t regret it!
Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation retails for $55.00 for 1 oz.
This foundation is beautiful and I really want to try it but I just don’t know if I can spend that much. Maybe I will skip my lattes for a few weeks and use the money to get it!
It’s definitely worth it! Just get regular coffee, and add some flavoring to it, that should get you by for a while- at least until you get the foundation!
