Honey Sweetie Acres Goat Milk Lotion

I feel truly spoiled!

My skin tends to be dry and itchy, so goat milk is one of my favorite skincare ingredients (see this post). With it being winter, there couldn’t have been a more perfect time to receive a package from Honey Sweetie Acres! One of the items in it was the Goat Milk Lotion in Starry Night.

The goat milk used by Honey Sweetie Acres is superior to most other companies as they use real milk from their own Nigerian Dwarf Goats, which are renowned for extremely high butterfat. Nutrition, feeding, and health are a top focus. Additionally, they use an organic coconut oil base, high oleic olive oil, and never any GMO products. I got the Starry Night, which is described as being a slightly fruity and sweet blend of rose, musk, grape, peach, plum, and a few citrus notes (Honey Sweetie Acres, 2015). The scent is just right, not too strong, but not too light. My other half even commented on how great I smelled!

The problem I have with many thick lotions and creams is that they are often sticky or difficult to spread. That is NOT the case with Honey Sweetie Acres Goat Milk Lotion- it’s thick enough to be insanely moisturizing and soothing, but it spreads and absorbs very easily, and is not at all sticky. With most lotions, I have to reapply throughout the day. With this one, I apply once in the morning, and once when I get out of the shower at night, that’s it! In the summer, I’ll probably only need it once a day.
