Always one to go against the grain, I stayed away from a dark lip and smoky eyes for New Year’s. I opted for a bright look, although I did do like many others and included glitter- just couldn’t resist!
I started with Make Up For Ever Step 1 Hydrating Primer, and NARS All Day Weightless Luminous Foundation in Stromboli, then It Cosmetics Pressed Powder to minimize pores. I contoured with NARS Laguna bronzer, and highlighted with NARS blush in Miss Liberty. I used Final Cut by NARS on the apples of my cheeks.
I primed my eyes with Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion, and used Urban Decay’s Ransom, Peace, and Fishnet shadows. Although it’s not really visible in the photos, I also added Urban Decay Moondust shadow in Intergalactic (lavender glitter) to my crease area. Gotta have that glitter, you know- since it is New Year’s…lol. I used MAC’s Technokohl liner in Graphblack, and smudged a bit, then finished with Diorshow mascara.
For eyebrows, I used It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil; and for my lips, I used Lipstick Queen’s Saint Pink.
Now, if only I had somewhere to go!
