One of my favorite things about BB creams is that they not only provide coverage, but they contain sunblock. Lately, I’ve been hoarding BB creams because they are so versatile and multi-tasking, and I love it when I find one that is actually dark enough for my skin, which is rare! The good news, though, is that BBs can be so much more forgiving than a regular foundation, and often, you can be a shade or two off and it will still look just fine.
I tried this in Natural, and found it to be too light for my skin. After letting it set on my skin for a bit, and using a bit of bronzer, it was actually pretty wearable. I’m pretty sure this will work out just fine in the winter months.
This spreads so easily, and is a good consistency, it’s not the thickest, nor the thinnest BB I have tried. This is a good “in-between.” It did not settle into my fine lines, and it did not make my pores any more visible. Like all Guerlain products, it does have a violet scent. I happen to love it, but I know it will bother those who are sensitive to fragrance. However, it does not linger.
