The fabulous folks at Mally Beauty were kind enough to send me some goodies to try out.  I was excited, because some of these items always seem to be out of stock at Ulta, so I knew they were REALLY good.  I used the Lip Magnifier in a video on how to make your lips look bigger (found here), and it was the perfect shade, wore fabulously, and felt great on my lips.  You can also check my unboxing video here.  (By the way, please subscribe to our channel!!!)

Today, I decided to put all the products together and create a look for Spring- the fresh colors would be perfect, and fun to work with.  I used the Perfect Prep Poreless Primer in Glow ($35), which at first kind of scared me.  Having been oily as a teenager, and having combination skin now, I get a bit panicky when I see the word “glow.”  Never fear, this just gave my foundation luminosity, without any trace of shine- a truly beautiful finish that wore all day.

The primer went on easily, and didn’t ball up, just created a very nice, smooth finish.  I usually don’t like products that come in jars, but this primer isn’t dependent on antioxidants, so no worries.  I just used a spatula to get the product out.   So, don’t let the jar packaging dissuade you from trying this, you can either use a spatula or transfer it into a bottle.  But, I really think the jar looks elegant.

Next up was the Evercolor Shadow Stick in Sunlight ($25), a gorgeous pinkish nude.  The shadow went on so smoothly, and blended with ease.  The color stayed true all day, and it never creased or faded.  Very impressive- I will probably try to find excuses to use this all the time now…lol!

I also received the Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner in Caribbean Sea ($18), which is a gorgeous shade of green.  I’ve had these liners before, and I love how easily they glide on.  I used this on my lower waterline to add a pop of color, and again, it lasted.  The only problem, as with all waterproof liners in the water line, is that since they’re waterproof, they repel water.  So, since my allergies have been so bad, I had to use a cotton swab to dry my water line before using…lol! But after that, it went on easily!

As I mentioned previously, I used the Lip Magnifier in Nude Rose ($20) in my video, and I used the H3 Lipgloss in Sweet Peach ($20) on Saturday.  Since I used the lip gloss by itself, I decided to layer it over the Lip Magnifier today.  By itself, it added a light tint, and it enhanced the Lip Magnifier nicely, so it worked well both ways.  The best part?  It never got sticky, and it kept my lips soft.  Oh yeah, and the packaging is stunningly sleek!

I finished off my look with the Evercolor Poreless Face Defender ($40).  When my friend Firshelia first told me about this, I was really intrigued.  It’s not like primers where you put it on before your makeup; you actually use the sponge to dab it on over your makeup.  It’s easy to see why I hear such great things about this- it’s the BOMB.  It did a fantastic job of minimizing my pores, and it kept me matte without looking powdery.  You need this.  Trust me.  Run to your nearest Ulta and get it NOW.  You’re welcome!
