If you’ve been keeping up with our blog, you know hands are often neglected when it comes to our skin care routines. I, myself, am guilty of this, as my hands look more aged than my face. I’m outside a lot, running, doing yard work, gardening, etc., so these things take their toll.
A while back, I was using Julep’s glycolic hand mask, but they stopped making it. I’m not sure why, because it was the bomb. No worries, though, because now I’ve found something even BETTER. This set contains two full sized products- the Hand Rejuvenator Peel, and the Hand Rejuvenator Cream. The two steps work together to intensively restore firmer, smoother, younger looking hands. Count me in!! The peel contains 10% citric acid to gently exfoliate and lift away rough, dull patches to uncover smooth skin. Who doesn’t want smoother skin?
The peel also preps the skin for the next step, the rejuvenating cream. The cream is formulated with potent anti-aging ingredients, such as CitraFill, NeoGlucosamine, and Apple Stem Cell Extract. The Exuviance Age Reverse Hand Rejuvenator system is very easy to use, and should be done at night. The peel contains a pump dispenser, all you have to do is press a cotton ball or pad down onto it, and the liquid is pumped up onto it. Gently swipe the peel onto your hands, and let it sink in for a minute or so, then follow up with applying the cream. In the morning, reapply the cream, and allow it to absorb for at least an hour prior to washing.
It’s important to note that although this system is gentle, the alphahydroxy acids are potent, and you need to make sure to use sunscreen so you don’t undo all the good you’ve done! (Note to self…)
I’ve been using this nightly for about a week now, and I’ve experienced zero irritation or side effects. However, in this short period of time, I’ve noticed the skin on my hands seems a bit more plump already, and it’s definitely softer. I’ve even been using this on my knees and elbows, and so has Jerry…lol!
