Summer and hot, humid weather are just around the corner! Yay!!!! I LOVE summer and flip-flops; but I don’t like the thought of my skin suffering under heavy products!
Ever since I started taking really good care of my skin, I don’t like to hide it. I prefer using light coverage makeup, and only using regular foundation when I need something long-wearing. Therefore, I usually rely on tinted moisturizers for daily wear. The only problem is, some of them can get too greasy, or just don’t look “right.”
I recently “discovered” Eve Lom’s Radiance Perfected Tinted Moisturiser, which has an SPF of 15. Not only is this formula purported to provide a soft finish, but it also contains brightening actives that are supposed to help reduce hyperpigmentation. Additionally hyaluronic acid and fruit stem cell extracts provide moisture, while vitamins C and E protect and nourish the skin, and SPF 15 guards again harmful UV rays.
While I can’t attest to the long-term effects of reduced hyperpigmentation, I can say that Eve Lom Radiance Perfected Tinted Moisturiser does provide a beautiful, light weight finish. It provides just the right amount of coverage for every day wear, kind of like my own skin but better. It also lasted a good six hours with primer, which was pretty surprising for a tinted moisturizer. Although the formula is moisturizing, it never made my oily/combination skin greasy. It went on smoothly without streaking, and it never oxidized or changed color, so a big win!

The only negative is that the product claims the SPF 15 guards against harmful UV rays. The gold standard recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology is a minimum of SPF 30. This isn’t a huge deal, though, because many moisturizers don’t contain any sun protection at all, and you can always layer additional SPF with this. Overall, this is a fabulous product, and I recommend it to anyone!
