Elemis Peptide 24/7 Collection

ELEMIS (US)

Hey everyone!  Hope you’re all having a fantastic September!  It’s been a while since we’ve posted- a lot going on, and we’ve been out of state.  I got a package from Elemis just over a month ago, but haven’t had time to post, and we’re leaving again soon to head back to Cali, so I wanted to make sure to tell you guys about these awesome skincare goodies before we left!

My skin has always reacted very well to Elemis products.  Everything I’ve tried has been well-formulated and I’ve never experienced any irritation- just beautiful skin.  So, when they sent me what amounted to a “spa in a box,” I was super-duper thrilled!

Elemis sent me their Peptide4 Thousand Flower Mask, Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil, Peptide4 Eye Recovery Cream, an amethyst rollericon, dark cloth, and spa headband.  Having been so busy lately, and a spa day not being in my budget for the foreseeable future, I knew I was in for some serious self-pampering.  Check out how it went!

Peptide4 Thousand Flower Mask

The “new kid in the box” is the brand’s just-released Peptide4 Thousand Flower Mask.  This wash-off mask contains skin-synchronizing Peptide4, and is powered by thousands of fallen flowers to help instantly revitalize the skin and reduce the appearance of pores.

The formula is purported to instantly improve radiance and revitalize dull skin with Nordic peat, purify skin and minimize pores with Brazilian black clay, and gently exfoliate with Willow Complex, evening out skin tone and texture.

I love that this mask is housed in a tube, rather than a jar, so it doesn’t dry out, and it’s super-convenient to use.  It’s thick, yet smooth enough that it’s easy to spread onto my face, and there’s no stickiness.  It’s a very soothing formula, and it doesn’t cause any irritation or burning on my hyper-sensitive skin.  The best part is that since it doesn’t dry out or get “hard,” it’s really easy to remove!  Make sure to use a cloth that you don’t care about, though, or a dark cloth!

I’ve been using this 2-3 times a week for the past month, and it’s done wonders at keeping my skin clean, and pores clear.  I do extractions a couple times a week, and the amount of icky stuff that comes out has been drastically reduced.

Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil

This is one of those products that I previously would have shied away from.  Having oily skin, and having suffered from acne as a teen, I’ve never liked the idea of oils.  Eventually, I took the plunge and tried a few, but never really found any I liked.  When I tried the Elemis Superfood Facial Oilicon, I was pleasantly surprised.  So I had a lot less apprehension with the Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oilicon.

This unique cream-oil combines perilla seed oil and Elemis’ exclusive Night Scented Stock oil, so it’s rich in omega 3, vitamin E, and antioxidants.  The brand’s Peptide4 is a tetra-peptide made from four amino acids, that helps support the skin’s processes.  Skin looks and feels moisturized, replenished, and restored, 24/7.

This night time treatment is housed in a sleek, glass pump bottle.  The ingredients are safe from exposure to air, and the pump is convenient to use.  It only takes about two pumps for me, as I use a separate neck cream.  Despite being a cream-oil, this stuff is not at all greasy- it goes on easily and actually seems to sink into my skin.  And oh my gosh, the scent is to die for!  I love scented skincare products, but even if you don’t, this isn’t overwhelming, and it does dissipate.

When I wake up, my skin isn’t greasy like it is with other night time oil-based products.  My face just feels really hydrated and dewy.  As soon as I wash my face, it’s SO soft and smooth.  It’s easy to see why this is an award-winning product!

Peptide4 Eye Recovery Cream

Like the previous products, Elemis Peptide4 Eye Recovery Creamicon contains the brand’s skin-synchronizing Peptide4, which helps revive the appearance of tired and overworked eyes.  Puffiness, dark circles, and the appearance of fine lines are reduced.

The appearance of dark shadows is addressed with the hawkweed and daisy extracts so eyes look brighter and more well-rested.  Skin elasticity is improved and moisture replenished with star avensis oil.  Finally, the exclusive Night Scented Stock helps smooth and improve the feeling skin firmness.

The eye creams I’ve been trying out lately have all been packaged in jars, which I don’t like.  So many great formulas out there, but put into jars.  Arrgghh!  So, I love that the Elemis night cream is packaged in a squeeze tube.  Again, safe from exposure to air and light, and easy to use.  It’s also travel-friendly, so I can just toss it into my bag to take with me.

The cream is very hydrating, yet light weight at the same time.  It sinks into my skin easily, and it’s very soothing.  I’ve been using it day and night, and my eye area definitely appears brighter, and fine lines more plump, after a month or so of use.

Overall, I’m SO happy with the Elemis Peptide 24/7 collectionicon– the products are beautifully formulated and do a great job of making me feel pampered.  You can buy the products separately, or… see that gorgeous amethyst roller in my box?  Well, you can get one, too!
