I had originally intended to do my nails in my favorite shade, “Baker Street,” by Nails Inc. But, I decided to do a more neutral shade since I had just worn a bright color. Then I remembered I had “Chasing Pavements’ by Deborah Lippmann stashed in a Sephora bag from a trip to the Bossier City Sephora Inside JCPenney- thank you, Kristen S.!
While this is not a new shade, I have never worn it before. I have several other Deborah Lippmann nail lacquers, and really, really like them. After trying this out, grey quickly became my new favorite neutral! It didn’t seem to wear as well as my other Lippmann shades, but I was particularly rough on my hands. Even so, I only ended up with a few very tiny chips right at the tips. These were so small that they were barely noticeable. Other than that, it went on a tad bit streaky, so I needed to do two coats, but that’s nothing unusual for a cream shade.
Out of over 300 nail colors, this is one that I will absolutely wear again!
