Omg, holy moly, these shoes are SO amazing!
So, hopefully you all had a happy Thanksgiving and are enjoying the cooler weather. I couldn’t help but cut right to the chase because I’m SO stinkin’ excited about these shoes!
I love shoes- I mean, REALLY. LOVE. SHOES. But, I’m also into comfort. As much as I love the way a pair of heels looks, I just cannot wear them for more than a few minutes before I’m putting my flip-flops back on. Even kitten heels become a chore to walk in after about 15 minutes. Also, it’s hard to find cute shoes that fit my size 10 feet!

When my shoes arrived, they were packaged very well. There was the shipping bag, with the shoe box inside, along with a return label, return paperwork, and a catalog. The shoes were very secure and protected, with each shoe individually wrapped in plastic. Each shoe also contained a plastic rod, cardboard pieces, and tissue to protect and maintain shape during shipping. I was VERY impressed with the care they took; it’s obvious the folks at Hotter want to make their customers happy!
When I took out the shoes, I swear, they literally took my breath away! The quality was outstanding; no wonder they’re Britain’s top shoe manufacturer. There is a floral lining, and cushioning inside the shoes, and the suede is beautiful. The design is unique and fun, yet sophisticated and classy at the same time. But, the real treat was when I slipped these Donnas onto my feet- they did NOT feel like heels.
Although the heels of the Hotter Donna shoes are higher than my Louboutin kitten heels, they don’t feel like it. They feel like sneakers in comparison (sorry, Mr. Louboutin!), even when I first put them on- it felt like they had already been “broken in.” As much as I love the plum color, I almost wish I got these in black, because I want to wear them with everything now. They were great with jeans, but I can also wear them with a dress or skirt.
Pardon the wrinkled jeans- we were at a gathering with kids crawling all over me…lol! 🙂
