Now that you know about Bionova‘s superb customer service and the ease of ordering your own, personal formula, let’s move on to the formula itself- the cream with my name on the jar!
Like the Anti-Stress Care cream, this formula contains some ingredients that you will probably recognize, such as retinyl palmitate, ascorbic acid, and hyaluronic acid. Retinyl palmitate, a form of Vitamin A, is a milder version of Retin-A, or tretinoin, and stimulates collagen production. Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) serves as an antioxidant and also helps support collagen. Hyaluronic acid can hold many times its weight in water, and provides an excellent source of moisture.
My N1-Custom formula also contains polypeptides, or amino acid chains, such as Gly-Pro-Gly and Tyr-Ile-Gly-Ser-Arg. Peptides are cell communicating ingredients that tell cells what to do and how to react. In order for specialized peptides to provide the most benefits, they must be stable in their base formula, they have to be paired with a carrier that allows absorption into skin, and they must be able to reach the target cells without breaking down (Begoun, 2015). This is what’s so fascinating about Bionova’s products.
Bionova’s skincare products are formulated with the precise quantities of ingredients necessary to be the most effective. With the N1-Custom, there is only a one in 60-million chance that another person will have the same formula as you.
I love that a full page of instructions is provided with each product. This makes it easier to understand what the product is and how to use it. My instructions state to use the formula twice per day- some people may not have another Bionova cream (due to the nature of the ingredients, you should not use other brands at the same time). However, since I had already been using the Anti-Stress Care, Bionova recommended that I alternate the two products.
Alternating products really excited me because not only will both creams last longer, but my results will be enhanced. If you have more than one moisturizer or product that can be used as a final step, alternating them can give you better, and faster, results. When I was told to do this, it made complete sense. It reminded me of diet and exercise regimens- my trainers would always keep changing my routine and meal plans. If you do the same thing for too long, your results will plateau. The human body likes to maintain a state of homeostasis, so variations will keep the results coming.
My N1-Custom formula differed slightly from the Anti-Stress Care, as it seemed slightly thinner and a little different in color. This is because each formula is different- your N1-Formula will probably be look and feel different from mine. Both my N1-Custom and Anti-Stress Care creams apply very easily and smoothly because they are applied immediately after the Cream Activator, while it’s still wet. This allows for better absorption and application.
My skin is already happy and healthier from using the BN Science and Bio 1 Act products, and it feels even better with the N1-Custom. My skin is no longer greasy, but it’s not dry, either. It simply feels soft, and I swear, it actually seems to glow more!

When I used the website to make my cream I picked the sun and ozone protection and it was expensive. But when I did it without the sun and ozone protection it cost less. You said they told you to use it just at night, so does that mean I don’t need it?
Hi MatzBae! I already had the Anti-Stress Care, and I had been using it for a couple weeks, so I had a “jumpstart” on the regimen. Also, you need to be using the regimen at least twice a day- so you’ll definitely need something for in the morning, too. Another thing to consider is that Bionova’s products are all customized to some degree, so you may want to contact Bionova’s customer service so they can guide you! 🙂

Do they make this for eyes? I was using Tranquille Eye Cream but it was horrible horrible horrible horrible.It dried out all my eye skin and made me look real old. Its so bad I will try about anything!
