Bionova Bio 1 Act Cleanser

As stated in my previous posts about Bionova, their company and products are far different from anything else on the market. If you haven’t read my previous posts about Bionova, stop what you’re doing, go read them, then come back here! Cleanser is the first step in any good skincare regimen. Bionova’s doctors recommended I use the Bio 1 Act Cleanser for Oily Skin. This cleanser removes all traces of excess sebum and impurities, helps reduce greasiness, and clear blemishes, all without stripping the skin. But, they didn’t stop at just getting your skin clean. This formula contains several Nano-Complexes, including an Antioxidant & Anti-Free Radical Scavengers Nano-Complex, as well as Nu-Cell Direct Delivery System.  So, your skin is also getting the nutrients it needs.

Bionova recommends cleansing your skin at least once or twice per day, and never go to bed without washing your face. Apply three or four pumps of the Bioactive Cleanser to your fingers, and gently tap it onto your face. Leave the cleanser on for a minute or two so it can “melt” through makeup and impurities. Rinse thoroughly with cool or lukewarm water. Pat dry with a soft cloth (Bionova, n.d.).

The first time I tried this cleanser, I immediately texted my friend, Amanda A., and told her how it smelled SO good! I seriously did not want to wash it off, it smelled THAT good. Bionova’s products have a trademark scent that is a result of the bioactive ingredients. I don’t really know how to describe the smell; it’s not floral or fruity, but it has the freshness of ozone, like right before it rains.

So many cleansers for oily skin contain harsh ingredients, this one does not. My skin does not feel tight, dry, or stripped after cleansing, just clean and soft. Since it leaves the skin perfectly balanced, it seems as if the products I use afterward absorb more readily.  The clear liquid is also very easy to spread- a little goes a long way.

I cleanse in the morning, and at night. Sometimes, I may do a double, or even triple, cleanse at night, depending on how much makeup I have been wearing. In the morning, I simply follow Bionova’s instructions in the morning as the first step of my routine. At night, I follow the instructions, then repeat. This ensures all my makeup is completely gone prior to going to sleep. Your skin does the most repair work to itself while you sleep, so it’s of the utmost importance to ensure you are treating it the right way before going to bed!
