Okay, so, let’s be honest, Urban Decay’s use of the word “naked” is brilliant. Adding the word “skin”- even more brilliant. Fortunately, when it comes to this product, it’s not just great marketing, the product is fabulous.
As I started to approach 40, anti-aging ingredients were always on my radar. This foundation is similar to Hourglasses Veil Fluid foundation in that it is infused with anti-aging peptides; however, it costs $20 less than the Hourglass.
There are plenty of shades to choose from, with those ending in a “.0” having yellow undertones, and those ending in “.5” having more pink undertones. I bought this in both 6.0 and 7.0, so I will have a variety depending on my skin tone. Both proved to be good matches, and the formula spreads and blends easily, especially when used with UD’s Optical Blurring brush. When used with a good primer, I get anywhere from eight to 12 hours of wear, depending on the circumstances and what I am doing.
I really haven’t noticed any huge differences age-wise, but I haven’t gotten any extra wrinkles- a huge plus at my age. And it does not break me out or oxidize!
