Traveling via Air? You NEED a Face Mist!

Happy Thursday!! Hope you’re all having a great September!

We just got back from a trip to visit my family in Iowa for Labor Day weekend, and we had SO much fun! Being so far away, we only get to see them a few times a year, so we make the most of every precious moment.

The only downside is that I absolutely loathe the process of traveling. Packing, unpacking, driving to and from the airport, long lines, checking in, the boarding process, delays, cramped seating, uggghhh… To top it all off, the dry, recycled airplane air wreaks havoc on my skin!

Thankfully, facial mists are there to save our skin for moments like these. These convenient sprays tone, moisturize, cool, and set makeup in addition to being a quick energizing pick-me-up while on board when jet-setting around the world.

I discovered Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist a couple years ago (yes, long before Jeffree Star and Manny…lol), and it quickly became one of my fave facial sprays (see this post and this post). The thing that sets Tatcha’s mist apart from others is not just the great ingredients, but it leaves a light, thin layer of moisture on your skin. This makes it perfect following a peel (see this post), and for using on an airplane.

Another mist I like to use while in air is Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist (see this post and this post). This spray isn’t quite as fine as the Tatcha mist, but it also doubles as a toner. Since it’s a multi-tasking product, it’s perfect for travel, especially in the new limited edition smaller sized bottle. You can tone, set makeup, and add a burst of neroli scented moisture to help soothe skin affected by altitude.

There are a lot of great facial sprays out there, I just really like the Tatcha and Omorovicza because not only do they provide moisture, set makeup, and tone, but they also have ingredients that nourish the skin, such as antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. So, they’re pleasant to use and good for your skin!
