I forgot I had some sheet mask photos and notes I had taken about them, until I was clearing out some folders on my computer. Oops!
I had seen these on Sephora’s website a while back, and contemplated ordering a few. Then, when we were in line at Ulta, they had them stocked in those grab and go kiosks by the checkout. Since they were right in front of me, and only $3.75 each, of course I couldn’t resist getting a few!
In addition to avocado extract, the mask contains some great ingredients, such as macadamia nut oil, apricot fruit extract, niacin, biotin, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), and tocopherol (Vitamin E). However, I wish they would have left out the mineral oil- it makes no sense to have such great ingredients, then toss mineral oil into the mix.
The mask itself isn’t quite as lux as the soft, thick, stretchy masks, or the ones made of hydrogel, but it was still a nice product. It had a light, fresh fragrance- it really surprised me how pleasant it was! I don’t know what I was expecting, I guess maybe I thought I would open the avocado mask and it would smell like Mexican food or guacamole…lol.
The serum that was left on my face after I removed the mask was only slightly sticky, not nearly as sticky as some other masks, and it absorbed quite well. Overall, this was a nice mask for the price, I will undoubtedly pick up a few more to keep around just in case.
Tony Moly I’m Real Mask Sheets retail for $3.75 each.
