The good thing about working weekends is that Mondays aren’t so dreadful. Over the weekend, I’ve been testing out some great new skincare goodies, and I’m excited to tell you all about them! Keep on reading because I’ve found the perfect double-cleansing duo!
I received a box from Juice Beauty, and I’ve been diving into it each day, testing things out. I’ve found that I can get perfectly clean skin with the brand’s STEM CELLULAR Cleansing Oil and the STEM CELLULAR 2-in-1 Cleanser.
The STEM CELLULAR Cleansing Oil is formulated with grapeseed, may chang, ho wood, and sunflower oils, along with a proprietary blend of Vitamin C and fruit stem cells infused into an organic resveratrol-rich grapeseed base (Juice Beauty, n.d.).
I used this both as a regular cleanser, and as a pre-cleanse, and the formula is very effective either way. I love that it does a great job of removing all my stubborn makeup! I simply applied half a pump’s worth of oil (yes, it’s THAT concentrated!) into my hand, and massaged it into my dry face. Then I added water, and kept massaging, and watched as all my makeup was lifted away.

The only negative is that if you prefer cleansing oils with an emulsifier, this doesn’t do that. The good thing is that there are no added chemicals or emulsifying agents- it’s all natural, so it works more like a cleansing balm. Once you massage the cleanser and let it do its work, use a wet cloth to remove what’s left. My makeup was effectively removed, and my skin wasn’t stripped of moisture. Score!!!
I followed up with the STEM CELLULAR 2-in-1 Cleanser, which not only cleanses, but also balances the pH of your skin, so there’s no need for a toner. This is perfect for me in the mornings when I’m lazy and in a hurry…lol! Since there aren’t any harsh chemicals, this doesn’t really foam up, so again, my skin wasn’t stripped.
I used this both alone, with my FOREO Luna Mini 2, and with my Michael Todd Soniclear. I got a fantastic clean each time, and my skin was left soft and smooth, and not dried out or tight, just very pleasant feeling, and no traces of makeup left!
