Sunday Riley’s Ceramic Slip Cleanser is recommended for normal and combination skin. It contains refined French green clay, black pepper, sandalwood, jasmine, frankincense, and vitamin C ester. The company claims that the clay removes impurities, tightens pores, and infuses the skin with minerals; black pepper stimulates circulation; the sandalwood, jasmine, and frankincense tone the skin and balance oil; and the vitamin C ester helps reduce wrinkles, pores, and discoloration while stimulating collagen.
I use this cleanser at night with my Clarisonic, followed by an enzyme powder. As cleansers do not stay on the skin very long, I doubt this product has helped with my minor hyperpigmentation. My skin does, however, feel smooth like ceramic when I’m done. This cleanser has an herbal smell that is actually quite pleasing and relaxing. I personally love scented skincare and cosmetics, but this may be a bit strong for those who are sensitive to fragrances.
Sunday Riley also recommends mixing this cleanser with her Good Genes Treatment and using it as a mask. I also have the Good Genes, and attempted this once, but had to rinse it off right away because I got called out. I am anxious to try it again, as soon as I can remember to do so! I am halfway through my second bottle of this, and will more than likely repurchase.
Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser retails for $45.00 for 4.2 oz.
