Hey everyone, hope you’re doing fabulously swell!
As a fan of Studio Gear makeup, I was really excited to have the opportunity to test out the brand’s Pro T.L.S. Mascara, Invincible Gel Liner in “Invincible Earth,” and the #31 Invincible Multi-Tasker Brush.
Studio Gear Impactfull Pro T.L.S. Mascara
Studio Gear Impactfull Pro T.L.S. Mascara contains naturally-derived collagen, antioxidants and hydrolyzed wheat protein to protect and condition the lashes. The rich, deep pigments are long wearing without smearing, flaking or clumping.
The Studio Gear Impactfull Pro T.L.S. Mascara is a great all-purpose mascara for those who like a dramatic look, without being outlandish. It promises to thicken, lengthen and separate for maximum flare and fullness.
I really, really, really like this mascara! It’s not too wet, not too dry. It reminds me of my Diorshow mascara with the results and performance- it’s buildable for more drama, but not overly dramatic like Too Faced Better Than Sex. In other words, just like Diorshow, I get lots of volume, but it’s still perfect for daily wear. I can add more for a night out. I experienced no clumping, and no flaking, and it wore eight hours with no issues. It probably would have lasted longer if I hadn’t taken it off, which was also very easy to do.
Studio Gear Invincible Gel Eye Liner
Studio Gear Invincible Gel Cream Eye Liner provides ultimate versatility, wear and application. The high performance, waterproof and smudge-proof formula can be used to create intense, sheer, or smoky effects, and can be used as a shadow or liner.
The Invincible Gel Liner in Earth was much different than the same liner in Graphite. The Studio Gear Invincible Gel Liner in Graphite is one of my favorite liners because it glides on smoothly, and stays on until I take it off. I expected this liner to be the same, but it was a completely different texture and consistency.
The Graphite shade was more “wet,” and the Earth shade is more dry. It didn’t glide on as easily as the Graphite, either, so at first I thought it might be dried out. But, it came directly from Studio Gear, so I knew that probably wasn’t the case. I’m assuming the difference is caused by the pigments used. This is like with lipsticks, the same exact base formula could be used, but different shades apply and wear differently due to the varying pigments that make up the shade.
The Graphite shade I have is slightly metallic, so of course it’s going to differ. The Earth shade was more like a cake liner, comparable in texture and consistency to my Urban Decay All Nighter Cream Liner, and my Smashbox gel liner. The color is gorgeous, and is perfect for daytime looks, or if you don’t want the harshness of black. It also wore extremely well, just as long as the Graphite, and did not budge. To top it all off, I also used this liner for my brows, and got great results! It applied, wore, and performed similarly to the Benefit Ka-Brow that I’ve been using, but the Studio Gear Earth gel liner was a better shade match for me than the Benefit.
Studio Gear #31 Invincible Multi-Tasker Brush
The Studio Gear #31 brush was designed to fit perfectly into the corners of the eye. The synthetic Taklon Nylon fibers are firm, yet very soft, which enables you to effortlessly sweep liner along your lash line for perfect application. The flat curved shape is great for applying liquid, cream, cake, powder, and gel products.
I really like the Studio Gear brushes I have, and this one is no exception- it’s high-quality and performs very well. I was able to use this to line my eyes, and to fill in my brows, and it was perfect for both. We’re going out of town soon, and I can’t wait to stash this in my travel case because it truly takes the place of several brushes. The less I have to pack, the better!
Overall, the Studio Gear Impactfull Pro T.L.S. mascara, Invincible Gel Liner in Earth, and the #31 Invincible Multi-Tasker Brush are fantastic products that I would recommend to anyone. I was especially pleased that the liner and brush could do double duty and tackle my brows; and that the mascara was comparable to the cult fave Diorshow, at a much lower price tag.
