Having been a fan of Kenra for many years, I was ecstatic to have the opportunity to try out the brand’s new Platinum Snail CC Crème. This luxurious product is the first professional hair care product infused with Snail Essence, which is a concentrated blend of proteins that have been proven to fight the 10 signs of aging hair.
Kenra Platinum Snail CC Crème is for all hair types and is paraben and sulfate free. The formula is purported to boost shine, increase thickness, reduce breakage, hydrate hair, tame frizz and flyaways, improve elasticity, relieve scalp irritation, increase manageability, decrease coarseness, and provide protection from heat.
Kenra Platinum Snail CC Crème is housed in a sleek blue tube with silver-tone print. It has a pump dispenser which makes it super easy to use. The cream has a light, fresh, barely discernible scent that dissipates quickly, so it won’t clash with any fragrances you may want to wear. It has a light texture, and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy.
The directions say to apply evenly throughout damp or dry hair, then style as desired. I first tried this on damp hair, and used about the size of a nickel (I have long, thick hair). It was easy to work throughout my hair, and combing was not the pain it normally is!
When I dried my hair, it was SO silky smooth, which really excited me since my hair can tend to feel dry and coarse. It didn’t feel heavy, and I didn’t notice any coating or residue, it was very light. The shine was unbelievable as well! I also used the Snail CC Crème to touch up my ends the next day, while my hair was dry. I just used a tiny bit, and worked it through with a comb, and had fabulous results.
For me, the best part of the Kenra Platinum Snail CC Crème is how versatile it is. It truly is a multi-tasking product because I can use it as a styling cream, and it has ingredients to improve my hair’s condition.
