It’s Friday!!!!! Woo hoo!!! And guess what? I hit the mother lode! Of subscription boxes, that is!
I LOVE subscription boxes, and Beautycon sent me their Spring 2017 box to share with you guys, and I’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty darn fab!
Beautycon is different from Birchbox, Ipsy, etc. because it’s quarterly, and $29 instead of $10. BUT, you get a LOT more goodies, and most of them are FULL SIZE! There’s a mixture of drugstore and high end, so you get to experience a variety of different types of products.
When the box first arrived, I was surprised at how heavy it was compared to others, so I knew it would be chock-full of beauty goodies. Beautycon did not disappoint!
The Spring 2017 box contains:
–The BrowGal Convertible Brow Powder to Pomade Duo with Double-Ended Brush– Retail on this full size palette is $35.00. It contains three shades that can be used wet as a pomade, or dry as a powder.
–NYX Bright Illuminating Stick in Rose Petal Pop– This is full size with a retail value is $8.00. This is a cream to powder stick that I’ve used several times on my cheeks, the shade is gorgeous!
–Dirty Little Secret Matte Liquid Lipstick in “Rust”– Full size, retail is $14.00. Often, these types of colors make my teeth look yellow, but this is more of a neutral/cool tone, so I had no problems, my teeth look just fine!
–Luxie 516 Rose Gold Duo Fibre Powder Brush– This full size makeup brush retails for $22.00. I’ve gotten Luxie brushes in other boxes, and really liked them. This will be a nice addition to my collection.
–Garnier Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes– I’ve heard good things about Garnier micellar water, so I was pleased to get these wipes. They’ve come in handy for the quick makeup changes I often make as a blogger.
–Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or Dry Oil– This mini size oil has a retail value of about $7.00. I’ve tried cleanser from the brand, and I’ve been itching to try this oil, so I’m super-excited to get it!

–IBY Mineral Blush in “Peach Sheen”– Full size, retail value of $14.00. As soon as I opened this, Jerry looked and it and remarked how pretty it was, and said it was similar to NARS Orgasm. You know you’re a beauty blogger when your hubby even knows about cult beauty products…lol!
–OGX Orchid Oil Color Protect Spray– Full size, $8.00 value. I color my hair, and I’m outside a lot. So, this will be nice to have on hand to protect my dye-job.
And last, but certainly not least,
–Cargo Around the World Eyeshadow Palette– This fabulous neutral palette has 6 matte and 6 shimmer shades. I don’t have any Cargo palettes, so this was a joy to receive. Check out my swatches!
