First off, a bit about this amazing company- the founder, Ken Simpson, created the products due to his own needs. After undergoing radiation for a brain tumor, he was left with facial damage and accelerated aging. The set includes White Tea Face Wash, Aging Intervention Cream, Anti-Sagging Renewal Serum, and Revitalizing Eye Gel. The bottles are travel-sized and refillable, so you can save them when you run out, and refill them when you’re on the go.
White Tea Face Wash
The White Tea Face Wash is a pH balanced botanical formula that provides deep cleansing and light exfoliation in addition to removing makeup. It softens the skin, hydrates, and contains antioxidants.
I’m SO obsessed with this cleanser- it’s one of my new faves! It’s not often I find a cleanser that actually lathers and makes my oily/combination skin feel truly clean, without stripping the moisture. The Skin 2 Skin White Tea Face Was does exactly that! I’ve used this by itself, and with several sonic devices, and it works like a charm. I still do a double cleanse with heavy makeup, but I can use this same cleanser for both steps. Nifty, huh?
Aging Intervention Cream
This stellar formula contains universal antioxidants that energize, hydrate, balance, and brighten the skin. It also helps to control acne and protects against environmental damage while preventing and reducing the appearance of aging, wrinkles, and fine lines.
This was the first product Ken Simpson created, so he could address the visible damage to the left side of his face from treatment for his brain tumor. It contains two of my favorite, proven skincare ingredients, a peptide and Vitamin C. The Vitamin C is from the kakadu plum, which contains the world’s richest source of the vitamin.
This cream has a wonderful texture- it’s not so thick that it “suffocates” my oily/combination skin, but it’s rich enough to keep my skin hydrated all day long. It spreads easily, and is readily absorbed. I really like how it makes my skin feel, very soft!
Anti-Sagging Renewal Serum
Formulated with three peptides along with green tea stem cells with Vitamin E, this formula firms and tightens to improve definition and volume. Wrinkles, lip and nasal lines are reduced while skin is softened, smoothed, and moisturized.
Yet another product with peptides- nice to see quality ingredients in this set! The odd thing about this serum is the consistency is different from any other serum I’ve ever tried. Instead of being thin and “liquidy,” it’s actually pretty dense. At first, it surprised me, I liked that it didn’t run all over the place, but was unsure if it would spread easily. No worries, it was easy to apply and absorbed quickly, and was very soothing!
Revitalizing Eye Gel
This gel was designed as an all-in-one treatment for a younger, tighter, and brighter eye area. The formula helps reduce dark circles, puffiness, bags, wrinkles, lines, and crows’ feet. Delicate skin is hydrated without heaviness, and the results are immediate lift and tightening.
This is a great multi-tasker, as it addresses fine lines and crows’ feet in addition to puffiness and dark circles. Since it’s a gel, it’s super easy to apply and sinks in almost immediately. I stashed mine in the fridge, and it’s been a HUGE help for when my allergies are acting up (nearly every day…lol), and does a great job at relieving the puffiness.
Overall, I’ve been very pleased with the Skin 2 Skin travel set, all four products have performed well. My skin feels soft and hydrated, and has a beautiful glow. The products in the set wear well with other products, under makeup, and alone. This set is purported to be a 30-day supply, but I know I can get a lot more out of it since the formulas are so concentrated and easy to spread.
