After swatching the Studio Gear True Eye Artistry Palettes on my arm, my medium skin tone just didn’t do them justice. As pigmented as they are, I knew they would show up better on my face since I use brightening products.
Left to Right: Moonlight (iridescent), Rose Dust (shimmer), Burnish (shimmer), Plummy (matte), Violet Hour (shimmer), and Midnight (shimmer)
While I don’t love the included brush, that’s the only one I used with the shadows, and it actually performed well- the colors went on easily and blended very well!
I lined my eyes with Studio Gear’s Invincible Gel Eyeliner in Graphite, using Studio Gear’s #29 Precision Fine Liner Brush. For my lips, I used Studio Gear Velvety Matte Lipstick in True Nude.
As you can see, these shadows showed up so much better on my face than on my arm. The shade Moonlight was my favorite- it worked very well to highlight under my brows, and it blended SO well. Rose Dust and Burnish also worked well to blend and give other shades a bit more depth. I can’t wait to play with this palette again!
