July 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag

Omg, beauty subscriptions are SO much fun!  So, what’s the deal with my July Ipsy bag?

Well, in June, there were three products that varied- for example, there was an eyeliner that you would get one of two shades, etc.  Out of three items, I didn’t get even one that I would have preferred.  Oh well, three strikes out of three, better luck next time, right?

WRONG.  In the July Ipsy bag, there were two varied products, and again, I didn’t even get one that I would have preferred!  We decided to do a video of the “unbagging,” so be sure to check it out at the end of this post for my (over)reaction…lol! 😉

My July Ipsy Glam Bag contained the following:

Too Faced Hangover RX primer– This is SO not for my oily skin.  I would have much preferred one of the new Benefit brow products.  Nothing against Too Faced, I love the brand, but this is not for me.

theBalm Meet Matt(rimony) Matte Eyeshadow in Matt Moscowitz– In addition to the Too Faced, this is the other product that I got the opposite of what I wanted.  Nevertheless, it is a gorgeous shade and will be useful!

Not Soap Radio When Life Gives You Lemons (And You’ve Misplaced Your Happy Place) Joy Inducing Hand/Body Lotion– I’m not usually big on citrus scents, but I love this brand, and I’m looking forward to trying this out!

Shray Ms. Amazing and Queen Bee Sheet Masks– My favorite items in this bag- I’m a sheet mask whore…lol!

Vasanti Eyeshadow Brush 2– Love a high-quality eyeshadow brush, and this will be especially great for concealers in addition to cream eyeshadows.

The July bag itself was also pretty cute- a silver-tone iridescent bag with beach umbrellas.  Very summery and fun!

Despite not getting my first choices, my July bag was awesome overall, and I got a LOT more than $10 worth of products.  If you’d like to try it out, it’s just $10 per month, shipping is FREE, and you can cancel any time.  Just click here to subscribe or for more information.  Don’t forget to watch the video below, I also talk about some of the FREE products I got just for writing reviews (free palettes, helloooooo!!!!)

  1. Sorry to hear that you did not get the products you wanted again. It sucks when you impatiently await for a beauty box and you don’t get what you expected, especially if you are like me and look for them online before arrival. However, it is hit and miss with subscription boxes since they do not have a small targeted audience. Enjoy the products nonetheless, find other uses for them or give away those which you don’t like as much. There is always a next time( or a different box)

    • Hello, and welcome! Eh, well, the $10 price tag makes the subscription worthwhile, even when I don’t get exactly what I want! Plus, I get to make friends happy by passing stuff onto them! 🙂

    • Hey! Love the name of your blog, I used to live in Vegas, and it made me miss the fun times I had there- I’ll definitely drop by your site! As for not getting what I wanted, it’s still a great price for the products, it’s just so ironic that every single one with multiple possibilities was a “miss” for me…lol! At least it’s still one of the best subscriptions for the $10 price tag, so I shouldn’t complain too much! Thanks for stopping by!!!! 🙂
