Sephora Play! Box: October 2015

Well, as I mentioned in the posting about the September Play box, due to an email issue, I never got into the program in time to receive the first box. The issue has finally been fixed (thank you, Sephora!), but still not in time for October. So, once again, my friend Amanda was super awesome and sent photos of her box. (The opinions expressed in this post are my own, not Amanda’s.)

This month’s box was MUCH better. So much better that it’s almost as if someone at Sephora read my posting from September…lol. October’s box included not six, but seven items- which is great, because I’ve always thought those little sample fragrance vials don’t really count!

October’s Play! Box contained:

Sephora Pearl Mask (1 mask)- This sheet mask promises to perfect and brighten your skin. For me, sheet masks are always a welcome addition since they are so easy to use- just put it on your face, and toss when done.

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Day Tint SPF 15 (deluxe sample)- Products with SPF are a must, and this is a nice new take on BB creams.

Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser (travel size)- I love this cleanser, and already own it. If I had gotten this in a box, it would have been great to toss into my travel case.

Konjac sponge– Not sure if this is a Sephora or Boscia product, but it’s one of the konjac sponges that contains charcoal. I was faithful to these until I got a Clarisonic, but these would still be great for travel, or if your cleansing device needs charging!

Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Instant Infusion (deluxe size)- I would have loved to receive this toner, because it’s not just a toner. This product contains ingredients that are good for your skin, so it adds nutrients in addition to just balancing your skins pH.

Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb (deluxe)- With Asian skincare being so huge these days, this is an awesome product to get in a subscription box. I have tried this, and it’s pretty super!

Atelier Mandarin Glaciale Cologne Absolue (sample vial)- As I mentioned in the September posting, I don’t like fragrance samples in subscription boxes. You can walk into Sephora at any time and get free fragrance samples, so it was kind of cheesy to include one. But, this month, it was included in addition to the other six items. So, instead of being a disappointment, it becomes a happy bonus!

Yep, this box was definitely better than last months- THIS is more like what I would expect from the leader of the beauty world. Well done, Sephora- keep up the great work!
