Morning
I washed my face with First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser, but decided to wait until the evening to use my Clarisonic. I toned with Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Turbo Line Smoothing Toner. After cleansing and toning, I used Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment, and spot treated with Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Fast-Acting Serum. Finally, I applied Tarteguard SPF 30 sunscreen.
Evening
I washed my face with Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser and my Clarisonic, then used Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu Brightening Exfoliating Powder, followed by AmorePacific Moisturebound Skin Energy mist. I waited about 30 minutes, then applied a pea-sized amount of 0.025% tretinoin. After 45 minutes or so, I used 3Lab The Cream.
Effects
Very, very small bit of redness, but barely noticeable. A couple pimples seem to be a bit more pronounced- I’m not worried about this since a “purging” phase is normal. As your skin is shedding its top layers, all the bacteria and “yucky stuff” starts to come to the surface. Basically, your skin will get worse before it gets better.
I noticed the slightest amount of peeling in the facial skin near my right nostril. I tried to photograph it, but it was not enough to be visible. The little bit of flaking was gone after using my Clarisonic & Peter Thomas Roth Exfoliating Powder. Very slight sensitivity after application of tretinoin, but it’s so slight that it could be psychosomatic from having noticed the tiny amount of peeling earlier. Chin slightly itchy, tiny whitehead left side of nose.
